ALEYSSAN IS A MESSY GIRL

“Aleyssan is a Messy Girl.”
By: Elma Saskya, S.Pd

"Winda, can I borrow your comic to read at home? Because your comic is really fun." Aley asked permission from her friend Winda, the owner of the comic.

"Yes, Ley. But don't damage it or lose it, Ley. Because it was a gift from my brother. Later, he will be sad if I don't take good care of his gift." Winda messaged Aley with a smile on her cute face.

"Okay. Stay cool! Trust me, Aley. This book is definitely safe. I will return it in the same condition later." Aley exclaimed happily while showing her row of teeth with a bright smile. They both laughed together.

When she got home, Aleyssan immediately read the comic she had borrowed while lying down and relaxing on her bed. Ignoring her shoes, which were still at the door of the house, where they should have been placed neatly on the shoe rack, she left her clothes piled up on her study chair.

Even the bag she usually wears to school suffers the same fate as other items. It just opened on the floor and left its contents, namely books and school equipment, scattered across the floor of her room until her pens and pencils rolled under her bed.

While she was engrossed in reading comics, her mother called her from downstairs. “Aley, the food is ready! Come downstairs for lunch first."

“Eh, yes, Mom. I'm going downstairs.” Aley, who already felt her stomach growl, immediately got down and ran towards the stairs of her house. Put down the origin of her friend's comic book.

“Fun lunch! Bon appetit, my dear mother." She was full of enthusiasm.

In the evening, Aleyssan went into her room to get Winda's comics, which she would read with her parents tonight.

But after looking everywhere, she couldn't find the comic book. Even though she had torn apart her bed sheets, she was absolutely sure that she had put the comic book on her bed.

"Mom, Dad. Has anyone seen Aley's comic book?" She said she tried asking her parents.

“Which comic book, darling?” Her father asked back.

“A time-adventure comic, Dad. In fact, Aley only read it in my room. But now the comic is gone. Winda will definitely be angry if she finds out the comic is missing." Aley said it sadly.

"Don't be sad yet; now Aley tries to find the right one in your room. Who knows? Maybe it's hidden. You really like putting things out of place. Even your hair comb can sometimes be in the kitchen, your shoes can be under the chair, and your homework book can sometimes be on the dining table." Said her father, who already knew Aleyssan's bad habits.

“Well, listen to what Dad says. You never obey what Mom says. Even though it's for your own good, dear, let's see what the consequences are. If we do things carelessly, it will be difficult for you to find them. Moreover, if it's something you borrowed from your friend, she will definitely be very sad if it turns out that her best friend can't look after her belongings well. Even though she has really entrusted you to look after her things for a while," her mother said that she advised and reminded Aleyssan about the consequences of her bad habits.

"Hu. Yes, Mom, Aley is wrong. Aley really likes to put things carelessly. Now, Winda definitely doesn't want to be friends with me anymore. So now, what should I do, Mom?" Now Aleyssan can only cry, regretting that she didn't keep her promise to her friend.

"Now you better tidy up your bed first. Just start looking slowly. This time, Mom and Dad won't help you anymore, dear. You must be responsible for looking for the item until you find it. But remember, searching doesn't mean destroying. If you have to dismantle a place, remember to put it back together. Understand?" Mother firmly looked at Aley, who was looking down listlessly. Aleyssan, who heard her mother's orders, nodded and began to do what her mother said.

Meanwhile, in the CCTV room, Aley's parents were seen deliberately monitoring their child's activities via a monitor that displayed their child's current movements. Aleyssan was seen pacing here and there, looking for a comic book that she accidentally lost. But what they salute now is that their child really obeys what they say.

She no longer tidied up the contents of her room but instead rearranged it so that it looked even neater. And sure enough, after several hours of looking for the comic book everywhere, finally, Aleyssan managed to find the comic book on the bookshelf of her mini library. Excitedly, she immediately looked for her parents to tell them that she had succeeded.

"Mom, Dad. I managed to find it. It turns out the book is on the bookshelf in my mini library at the same level as the story books I have." She said this with her eyes sparkling with joy because she had managed to find her friend's book.

Even though she was sweating from unpacking and rearranging her belongings, she didn't care. Because she felt very happy to be able to find what she was looking for, she was even able to find items that she thought were lost and could put them back in their respective places.

"Wow. Wow. Wow. Our daughter is great. So how do you feel now, darling? Are you tired?" Her mother asked, concerned.

"I'm tired, but Aley feels relieved. Aley came to know something. It turns out that if we put our things where they should be, grouping them with similar items will make it easier for us to find them again in the future. Like this comic book, if Aley had put it on the bookshelf from the start, she wouldn't have had to bother looking for it here and there. It won't take long to get it again.” Aleyssan said it enthusiastically.

“Well, you know that. That's how it should be, darling. Get used to putting things in their place, even if you feel lazy and want to postpone it. But believe me, the time we take to put the item in its place is not worth the time if we want to take it again. Our time and energy will not be wasted just looking for things. Right?” Her mother's advice.

“Yes, Mom is right. Forgive Aley, Mom, if all this time Aley has liked to disobey. Aley promises that from now on, Aley will be a neat child and be more obedient to Mom and Dad. It turns out that putting things neatly together has its own pleasure. Hehehe." Aley chuckled when she found out that she could also do the same things her mother usually did.

"Good! If that's the case, now I want to be honest. I'm also sorry if I've made you tired today. Actually, it was Mom who put the comic book there on purpose. At first, Mom thought you would definitely be able to find it again in a short time because I had put it in the books section. But it turns out that this mother's child took a long time to look for her. I just want you to learn something from this incident: learn to be responsible for the things you own. Because life is too short if you just spend it looking for things that are scattered around." Her mother said it sincerely, and now they were hugging each other like Teletubbies who love each other.

LOLI'S WRITING ✍

"Loli's Writing" By: Elma Saskia, S.Pd Loli was so excited today because her cousin, Aleyssan, came to visit their new house with her parents. They were currently playing in Loli's room. "Loli, I have a great gift for you. Want to see it?" Aleyssan asked. "Yes, I do! Where is it, Sis?" Loli exclaimed curiously. Aleyssan rummaged through her bag to find a small rectangular box tied with a ribbon in the middle and gave it to Loli. Loli, who was already very curious, immediately opened the box and her eyes sparkled brightly when she found 12 colorful pens inside. Excitedly, she got up from her seat and took a blank piece of paper, then her hand moved to write something on it using the pens. "Wow, the colors are so beautiful and they sparkle like jewels!" Loli praised happily. Aleyssan smiled upon hearing her, "Yes, they are very beautiful because besides being colored, the ink also contains glitter so it looks like sparkling silver. I...

SAVE WATER 💦

SAVE WATER By: Elma Saskya, S.Pd FLIP BOOK SAVE WATER On a hot afternoon, the two brothers were having fun playing marbles in their yard.  “Jojo, it's really hot today. It looks like playing in the water is better than here. How about we just play with water in the bathroom?” Invite Jeje to his little brother.  "Let's go in now; Jojo wants to, bro." The two of them went in and put their marbles in the tin jar they usually use.  *** "Wow, the water in our tubs and buckets is all full, Jo. It's going to be fun!" Jeje exclaimed happily and immediately poured water on his brother’s body repeatedly.  His younger brother also didn't want to give in. He went back to pouring water on his brother's body with enthusiasm. "Ha ha. My brother got all his clothes wet. You lost." Said his younger brother, laughing happily.  They went back to pouring water on each other, laughing together, until they realized that the water in the tubs and buckets th...
